By Air

Aviador Carlos Campos Airport (Chapelco – CPC)
Located 22 km from the city center (approximately 35 minutes by paved road).

Teniente Luis Candelaria International Airport (Bariloche – BRC)
Located 190 km from San Martín de los Andes (approximately 3 hours via the spectacular National Route 40 and the Seven Lakes Route).

By Road

San Martín de los Andes also has excellent road connections, making it easy to reach from different parts of Argentina and Chile.

The city is connected by National Route 40, one of the country’s most important tourist routes, and by National Route 234, which connects it with Junín de los Andes and northern Patagonia.

Those arriving from the south can enjoy the iconic Seven Lakes Route, a scenic drive of approximately 110 km connecting San Martín de los Andes with Villa La Angostura, considered one of the most beautiful scenic routes in Argentina.

The main border crossings from Chile to San Martín de los Andes are the Mamuil Malal Pass and Hua Hum Pass.
